You know it is amazing to even ponder the thought that in the year 2004, our great nation is being lead by a distracted administration. I will not be fooled by the phony notion that all the violence and heartache taking place in Iraqi is for the good of the nation (who's nation and who's pocket book). These events remind me of another war waged hundreds of years ago by the chruch trying to convert those in Islam to Christianity. As it did not work then it will not work now. It is virtually impossible to force feed a people democracy, democracy has to be birth of it's own pangs, own desire of the people to establish it. This is not the case in Iraqi; are we an occuping force, that we are, and have the gall to call these people insurgents.

Would America not fight for her own freedom it another nation had thrust upon us their own politcal views. Mr. President states that it was a matter of safety, well Saddam is no longer in power but has better healthcare than most America, he is no longer the tyrannical ruler he has been afford his own garden and sense of peace while we wage war in a unstable, non welcoming region of the globle.

When are we going to get to the real issues, like port security, more funding for law enforcement at home, better human inteligence from our national secruity agencies. This distraction has weighed in with the lost of too many lives and no positive out come.
